My daughter lives in Cedar Park and I live 2 hours away. We decided to do a girls weekend with my sister and her daughter who live on the East Coast. We wanted to try someplace local and a mom and pop restaurant for breakfast. We were seated immediately and noticed there was a table that had been destroyed with syrup salt and pepper shakers turned over it was a mess. I asked our server KB what happened and he showed me a naughty elf hanging from the kitchen hen door. I thought it was cute and liked how they were being festive. BUT a manager came out and fussed about the table and said it should have been cleaned up before they opened. I felt bad cause they were having fun and I thought it was festive and a talking piece. Anyway about the food.... My sister had the Chorizo omelet with crispy potatoes and creme brulee French toast as a side, her daughter had an egg and cheese omelet with hash browns and white buttered toast, and I had a short stack pancakes with over easy rags and crispy toast. We had oj and coffee for our beverage. We really enjoyed all our plates. My sister and her daughter weren’t able to finish their plates but they truly enjoyed it and saying it was all cooked well and had great flavor. My pancakes were so very fluffy, I put my eggs in between the stack. It was so very very very delicious. They bacon was perfectly cooked for me. Obviously I enjoyed my plate and I was hungry apparently cause I finished my plate. KB was an amazing server. He kept checking in us and made sure we were pleased with our breakfast. I highly recommend trying this restaurant for breakfast.

Drove by a few weeks ago and looked 1431 Cafe up. Food looked so good! We were able to stop for breakfast today and it is so good! The chicken fried bacon appetizer is a must! We had the chicken fried steak plate and the corned beef hash plate. Eggs were cooked to perfection! Chicken fried steak is very tender and flavorful. Corned beef was amazing! Love the over rye toast in addition to white and wheat. The biscuit was so tender and just melted in your mouth. The cafe potatoes have such a good flavor and I also loved the crispy potatoes- my mom used to make potatoes like that so it took me home. Our server Mandy was in training with Shannon. Both were very courteous and answered all our questions since it was our first visit. Frequently checked on us and filled our coffees. Will definitely w back!

Wow! My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! Fantastic food! Be advised! Order wisely because some meals are larger. Overall, great food and service !

First off, the food is delicious. We've known about this place for over 10 years and just now tried it. I can't believe we didn't come sooner. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. My favorite had to be the cornbread hash, which is freshly made to order. Blueberry butter for the pancakes you have to try they are good just like that without the syrup. The Redneck Benedict with cafe potatoes was my husband favorite. 1431 Special with ham was more than enough food. We even got a side biscuit and loved it. We had plenty of food leftover, and our eyes were bigger than our stomachs . Thank you, Julie, for all the recommendations you made the experience awesome.

We came here for the first time today, February 12th, and had breakfast. We were seated right away. The food was very good. Nice thick Pancakes and the chicken fried bacon was great too. Our waitress, Gavin, aka Carrot Top, was very friendly, helpful, informative and attentive. We will definitely come back over and over.

Wow! We were headed to the coast and I am so glad we found this cafe!! We came here for the reviews and it did not disappoint! The food is excellent and the portions are huge, come with an appetite! We got blueberry pancakes and creme brulee french toast, both were the best we have had! Our waitress was amazing! We will for sure be back!

Wow, for me, this is the best breakfast spot if you are hungry. The food is delicious, and the plates are huge! I eat the breakfast meat lovers omelet with country potatoes and the signature house sauce on the top with Rye Toast with butter, and a big cup of coffee let me tell you this breakfasts surprise me it was more than what I expected, it was delicious! I'm really happy I came here now it will be my favorite spot for breakfasts. My server was Shelly she is extraordinary and an amazing human being that's all I can say.

I've had two breakfasts from here. My favorite was the biscuits and sausage gravy. The biscuits were a big, and the gravy had good-sized sausage pieces in it. I've also tried the Creme Brulee French toast; it was sweet and reminiscent of the dessert, but unfortunately, it was too sweet for me. But don't let that turn you off--it is supposed to be sweet! It was made correctly. I've also tried the southern fried potatoes. They are very good. They have tender centers. I had a great server, too. She answered all my questions able menu items, helping me decide on what to order. I recommend eating here!
